This organic glass plate can serve as a salad or bread side plate or a serving plate for finger foods. It will compliment any contemporary dining set in its shades of white and aqua. The plate is food-safe and prefers to be hand-washed. It is not suitable for use in ovens or microwave ovens due to the sudden increase in heat that may cause thermal shock. This plate is created at temperatures above 1500F but the speed at which the glass is heated in the kiln is very slow and controlled. Therefore heating it in a regular household oven is not ideal and can cause it to crack.
