Folk art flower in the Pennsylvania German fraktur style. This design is taken from a Bucks County (PA) fraktur, using the same colors as the original watercolor. Framed in black (10"x10"), it comes with a fully finished back with dust cover and picture wire.
Needle felting is a totally dry process in which loose wool fibers are repeatedly stabbed into a background using special small barbed needles. The constant movement tangles the fibers firmly into position. Framed without glass to enhance the texture, it requires no special care -- simply an occasional flick of a microfiber duster.
