Quilt Barn is a nod to the tradition of painting a large quilt block on barns and other rural structures. Fall trees are color blocks and accents.
Needle felting is a totally dry process in which loose, dyed wool fibers are repeatedly stabbed into a background using special small barbed needles. The constant movement tangles the fibers firmly into position. Framed without glass to enhance the texture, it requires no special care -- simply an occasional flick of a microfiber duster.
