Sunny Days. Colorful sunflowers needled onto 100% wool felt and float framed on a fabric covered backing. The frame is deep enough to be displayed on a shelf or mantel or hung on a wall.
Needle felting is a totally dry process in which loose, dyed wool fibers are repeatedly stabbed into a background using special small barbed needles. The constant movement tangles the fibers firmly into position. Framed without glass to enhance the texture, it requires no special care -- simply an occasional flick of a microfiber duster.
