Robin's Nest. Five blue eggs in a nest on a teal wool felt background. Framed in white, it has a fully finished back with picture wire and is ready to hang. 12x12
Needle felting is a totally dry process in which loose, dyed wool fibers are repeatedly stabbed into a background using special small barbed needles. The constant movement tangles the fibers firmly into position. Framed without glass to enhance the texture, it requires no special care -- simply an occasional flick of a microfiber duster.
