Wildflower Meadow. Profusion of wildflowers in many colors, framed in white (12x12) with a completely finished back with dust cover and picture wire. Wools used include merino, maori and corriedale.
Needle felting is a totally dry process in which loose, dyed wool fibers are repeatedly stabbed into a background using special small barbed needles. The constant movement tangles the fibers firmly into position. Framed without glass to enhance the texture, it requires no special care -- simply an occasional flick of a microfiber duster.
