Take a look at this handcrafted picture frame that combines various cobalt blue stained glass in an unusual swirl design. The frame combines blue and white wispy glass with deep cobalt blue cathedral stained glass.
The photo area measures 4" x 6" which now seems to be a standard size. The glass does swoop into the frame area so your image can to be trimmed so as to not peak thru the glass depending upon the darkness of your image. The frame measures 7" wide by 8" tall at its widest points.
This frame is constructed using the copper foil method of stained glass construction. The solder is left in its natural silvery state and polished to a shine. The frame back is held in place by lengths of zinc came which are soldered firmly in place.
